Corn Cob Grit, made from milling and classifying corn cob, achieves impressive results in blasting, tumbling, polishing, vibratory finishing, deburring, deflashing and drying applications. A dynamic, bio-degradable, durable media, corn cob can be reclaimed and reused in media blasting applications.
Corn Cob products are frequently used in tumbling and vibratory finishing applications for polishing brass, casings and other metal parts. It also acts as an excellent absorbent in clean-ups of oil spills and as well as an ingredient in pet litter.
Corn Cob performs exceptionally in log home restoration, specifically in blasting the wood surface in preparation for applying new stain as demonstrated in the following video:
